The Foundation Day of Korea was commemorated with due ceremony at the Mausoleum of King Tangun on October 3.
Present there were Kang Yun Sok, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, officials concerned, officials of the Bureau for the Protection of National Cultural Heritage and working people in Pyongyang Municipality.
Also present there were overseas compatriots staying in the homeland.
First there was an ancestral rite for Tangun.
Then Hwang Kwang Il, director of the Bureau for the Protection of National Cultural Heritage, made a report.
