A session of the Permanent Commission of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK was held.

 The session deliberated the issue of adopting the law of the DPRK on urban formation and development and adopted a relevant decree.

 The law on urban formation and development is aimed at establishing the strict system and order related to the urban formation and development in the capital city and the seats of provinces, cities and counties so as to remodel the urban appearance and environment as required by the developing era and provide the people with better living conditions.
